The National Restaurant Association Show starts May 5 and all signs point to an exciting event filled with innovations in food service and appearances from notables in the food industry such as chefs Todd English and David Burke as well as a keynote address by former President Bill Clinton.
SCA, makers of the Tork brand of away‐from‐home paper products, will be on hand along with exhibitors from a range of product categories, including beverage, furniture and technology. At the SCA booth (#874), attendees can learn about the company’s latest products, including new dispensers from the Tork Elevation™ line of restroom products and new Tork Xpressnap Signature™ dispensers.
The NRA, in conjunction with SCA, will also release preliminary data from a survey examining how restaurant patrons respond to tabletop advertising. This information can be used to help guide in-house marketing efforts for restaurants.
The NRA Show is more than just introducing new products; it’s about a fun, interactive experience for attendees. NRA participants can purchase tickets to Restaurants Rock, at Chicago’s hip club LaSalle Power Company, go to the NRA Show Block Party on Hubbard Street, and a select few will be lucky enough to dine at the world-renowned Moto restaurant. Sessions focusing on a wide range of educational tracks, including sustainability, franchising and healthy living will be offered during the four-day event.
SCA will be hosting the Xpressnap “Won-at-a-Time” contest, where eligible attendees draw one napkin from the Xpressnap dispenser for a chance to win a 3-day, onsite restaurant consultation. Also, attendees can have their handwriting analyzed at the SCA booth by a professional analyst Saturday and Sunday from 12-4 pm.
